MA CAPITAL U.S. LLC is looking for a senior quantitative trader who is able to work as a team to improve existing or create new trading strategies.

As a Senior Quantitative Trader, you are responsible for the creation and monitoring of data-driven strategies in financial markets. You will have total understanding of the methodology of the strategies, how they should operate, recognize odd behaviors and understand market patterns to further optimize their performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop- and execute data-driven strategies in financial markets identifying patterns or inefficiencies, and developing statistical models to generate trading signals;
• Back testing and conducting examination of it’ s results;
• Monitoring the performance of trading algorithms in real-time, ensuring proper execution, and making necessary adjustments as market conditions change;
• Contribute to all aspects of the trading desk activities, including: position reconciliation, risk management tasks, and post trade analysis.
• Work closely together with other Trading Teams, IT Development and the Risk department.
• Continue building towards a more automated and data-driven trading environment and make it scalable and future proof.
• Report key results of the team to the management board.
• Effectively and critically challenging others when necessary.

Requirements:

• Capability of working with complex software;
• Programming proficiency: Knowledge of languages such as Python/ C++/C# is required. Familiarity with algorithmic trading platforms and APIs is also beneficial;
• Financial market knowledge: A deep understanding of financial markets, trading strategies, and market microstructure is crucial. Candidates should be familiar with various asset classes such as equities, fixed income, derivatives, or commodities. Knowledge of market data feeds, order routing protocols, and execution algorithms is valuable.
• Experience in algorithmic trading: Prior experience in algorithmic trading is highly desirable. Minimal of 5 years’ experience with Quantitative Trading. This could include experience of development, optimization and production of automated trading systems.

We are looking for an experienced traders (proprietary trading) in the Dubai office with confirmed trading statistics for further expansion of our business. Key Responsibilities:

• Financial markets analysis and generating short- and long-term trading ideas;
• Trading securities and derivatives markets for the company's account on the world's leading exchanges such as CME, CBOT, ICE, Eurex (stock indices,fixed income, commodity futures);
• Following the rules of risk management established in the company and comply with the market abuse regulations;
• Professionaly keeping track of the trading book, managing positions, fullfilling trading targets;
• All necessary capital for trading will be provided by the Company.

Requirements:

• Ability to set goals, objectives and achieve results;
• It is mandatory to have trading experience in the equities, futures, or currency markets for at least 3 years and an understanding of the functioning of electronic trading (cryptocurrency experience may be relevant if trading statistics profor the last month);
• Completed university degree (economic, mathematical or technical specialisation);
• Understanding principles of personal portfolio management and personal risk management (developing personal trading system in compliance with internal risk policies);
• Ability to work in a team, committed for achieving results;
• Deep understanding of the financial markets functioning, macroeconomics and trading;

Desired competencies:

MA CAPITAL U.S. LLC is looking for a Head of Risk Management in Dubai to further lead, build and expand our company's risk management function to the next level. The Head of Risk Management will be responsible for overseeing the monitoring and control of the positions in the trading books in real-time to make sure that business activities remain within the pre-defined risk appetite.

Furthermore, you will be proactive in developing next-level risk tools to support traders and managers in identifying opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading risk management into a future with a strategic focus on algorithmic trading;

Requirements:

• worked at least 3 years in front-office risk management and have extensive experience with equities, derivatives, commodities, algorithmic trading, HFT, market making, and IT-risk management
• at least 2 years of experience with algorithmic trading risk management
• successfully led a risk team before, or you are explicitly seen by colleagues as a talented future leader
• eager to drive necessary change in a fast-paced environment
• mindset is on innovation and continuous improvement, you follow the developments in risk management closely
• tech-savvy; you will use your Python and SQL skills to risk monitoring tools
• a Master’s degree in quantitative study, and strong analytical skills
• a compelling communication style and you are able to work closely with various stakeholders (traders, management board, clearing members, IT developers)
• possess great organizational skills to design and implement key risk projects for the firm
• are intimately familiar with models for margin/haircut calculation both in European and US regimes
• have a fundamental understanding of clearing models
• fluent in English, both spoken and written
